1. Testosterone
Our SUPERBEEF has between 34 to 105 times more testosterone than commercial cattle, which benefits both men and women. Testosterone is proving to be a man’s most important whole body anti-aging youth restorer. It affects almost every part of your health and not just sex life, like we used to believe. Men with diabetes are particularly prone to low testosterone. According to the American Diabetes Association, a man with type 2 diabetes is twice as likely to suffer from low testosterone as a man without diabetes (ADA, 2013). Testosterone helps women maintain bone density, muscle mass, and a healthy energy level. Women with low testosterone (low T) may experience decreased libido, persistent fatigue, and a decreased sense of well being.

2. Omega-3

Omega 3 is an essential fatty acid, meaning that it can’t be made by the body from the other fats and MUST be ingested in the diet.” How Too Much Omega 6 and Not Enough Omega 3 is Making Us Sick – Chris Kresser, “At the onset of the Industrial revolution (about 140 years ago), there was a marked shift in the ratio of n-6 fatty acids in the diet.
Consumption of n-6 fats INCREASED at the expense of n-3 fats. This change was due to both the advent of the modern vegetable oil industry and the increased used of cereal grains as feed for domestic livestock (which in turn altered the fatty acid profile of meat that humans consumed).
Vegetable oil consumption rose dramatically between the beginning and end of the 20th century, and this had an entirely predictable effect on the ratio of omega 6 to omega 3 fats in the American diet.
Between 1935 and 1939, the ratio of n-6 to n-3 fatty acids was reported to be 8.4:1. From 1935 to 1985, this ratio increased to 10.3:3:1 (a 23% increase). Other calculations put the ratio as high as 12.4:1 in 1985. Today, estimates of the ratio range from an average of 10:1 to 20:1, with a ratio as high as 25:1 in some individuals.
So what are the consequences to human health of an 1-6:n-3 ratio that is up to 25 times higher than it should be?
The short answer is that elevated n-6 intakes are associated with an INCREASE IN ALL INFLAMMATORY DISEASES – which is to say all diseases.”
3. Grass-Fed Beef Nutrition
“Beta-carotene, the precursor to vitamin A, is 7 times higher in grass fed beef compared to grain fed beef according to three scientific studies. Vitamin A plays a crucial role in vision, reproduction, bone growth, and cell function. It is important for healthy skin, as well as healthy linings of the respiratory, urinary and digestive tracts.
Vitamin E (alpha-totpherol) concentrations are 3 times higher in grass fed beef compared to grain fed beef according to six different studies. Antioxidants such as vitamin E are important for protecting cells against the damaging effects of free radicals. Free radical damage is believed to be associated with a variety of aging issues and chronic diseases from cancer to cardiovascular disease.
The antioxidant enzymes GT (glutathione), SOD (superoxide dismutase), and CAT (catalase) are all increased in grass fed beef, as well. Antioxidant enzymes, like antioxidant vitamins quench free radicals, and they do so in a way that is particularly useful for preventing DNA damage, and protecting cell function.
Grass fed beef contains significantly larger amounts of TVA (trans vaccenic acid) than grain fed beef, which is required for the body to make CLA (conjugated linoleic acid).
CLA is another valuable consideration for grass fed beef due to its ability to reduce the development of cancer, and the onset of diabetes. CLA has also been shown to reduce the deposition of fat in humans.”
