Average Hanging Weight: 80–85 lbs.
⚠️ What does that mean? Hanging weight is the side of beef before it’s aged, trimmed, and cut. After dry-aging and butchering, you’ll receive about 52%–60% of that weight as packaged, freezer-ready meat — typically around 42–50 lbs. of beef for your freezer.
